Summary

The ONEXFLY is a mid-size Windows handheld gaming PC from onexplayer, released in late 2023, available in Ryzen 7 7840U and Ryzen 7 8840U configurations. DROIX reviewed it as “a solid medium sized handheld gaming PC,” sitting between the larger ONEXPLAYER 2 and the more compact Mini in terms of form factor. It runs full Windows 11 and is powered by AMD’s Phoenix-generation APUs with RDNA 3 integrated graphics.

Design & Build

The ONEXFLY adopts a more ergonomic, mid-size handheld form factor compared to the larger ONEXPLAYER 2. It retains the full Windows handheld gamepad layout with thumbsticks, triggers, face buttons, and bumpers.

Emulation Notes

Per the DROIX review, emulation performance on the ONEXFLY is excellent:

  • All emulators up to PS1 and Dreamcast era work at lower TDPs, with rendering resolution scaling available.
  • PlayStation 3 (RPCS3) runs very well for many games.
  • Yuzu and Ryujinx (Switch) run very well on most games, with occasional dips that don’t significantly impact the experience.
  • The DROIX review specifically notes: “Yuzu and Ryujinx emulator on Payday 3 runs great on the ONEXPLAYER ONEXFLY.”
