Summary

The AYANEO 2 is a Windows handheld gaming PC from ayaneo, released in late 2022. It is powered by the AMD Ryzen 7 6800U APU (8 cores / 16 threads, up to 4.7 GHz) paired with the AMD Radeon 680M GPU (12 compute units at up to 2200 MHz), placing it in the same performance tier as other 6800U handhelds of that era. The device ships with 16 GB or 32 GB of LPDDR5-6400 RAM, a 7-inch 1920×1200 LCD, and up to 2 TB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe storage. DROIX stocks the AYANEO 2 as part of its AYANEO handheld lineup. The AYA SPACE companion software is a notable differentiator, providing TDP control and frontend functionality out of the box.

Design & Build

The AYANEO 2 follows AYANEO’s premium handheld formula: aluminium alloy chassis, ergonomic grip, and Hall Effect analogue sticks. Dimensions are approximately 264.5 × 105.5 × 36.1 mm and weight is around 680 g. Colour options include Starry Black, Sky White, Retro Power, and B.Duck editions. The front panel has a glass surface; the anti-fingerprint coating marketed by AYANEO was found in testing to be ineffective. A 50.25 Wh battery provides around 4 hours 27 minutes at idle with 28 W TDP, or approximately 1 hour 12 minutes under sustained CPU load.
