Performance and Emulation
Performance is slightly lower than the AYN Odin 2 Portal. Turnip drivers improve results in more demanding emulators. Overall the device received a “big thumbs up” for its emulation capabilities.
Design and Build
At 380g, the Thor is very portable and significantly smaller than the AYANEO Pocket DS. The clear purple color option is a standout. RGB lighting on the analog sticks adds visual flair. The optional TPU grip improves comfort during longer sessions.
Comparisons
Compared with the AYANEO Pocket DS throughout the review. The Thor wins on portability and weight while the Pocket DS offers a larger screen experience. Both are strong dual screen handhelds targeting different preferences.
